    fuel pump kit

    I took my 1974 50 h/p 500 out today and it will only run a short distance and quit. I have to pump the fuel bulb to get it to run and then it quits a short distance and i pump it again to get to the dock. I think i need a kit to fix the fuel pump. Is that hard to replace? I need to buy a book...

    1972 50 h/p water pipe leak

    I have a leak where the pipe from the water pump connects up to the motor.I dropped the lower unit becouse i thought the water pump was bad.     i must be dumb becouse i cant figure out how many oz. oil to gas on my 1962 3 h/p. it says 1/3pint to a gal of gas so im thinking 5 oz.oil ? pete

    water leak

    i overheated my 50 h/p engine do to the water pump giving out. Its a 1970's model. I replaced the pump and started it and water is coming out all around the the cylinder cover. Now what? Am i screwed? pete
