When I turn on the ignition I get a short beep and the lights come on and go out one by one.
If I short the tan wire to ground, the overheat light comes on but no sound is heard.

I have an intermittent problem:
When it happens: I can put it in gear but when I advance the throttle even slightly, the engine stalls. I can restart it but then the same thing happens. If I leave it in neutral I can rev it up and then when I put it in gear it's OK for a while.
