Have a 2001 Mercury 90hp 2 stroke outboard motor on my 16' Bayliner.
Lately it started to act odd...

But once I can start it then during the day I can stop it and start with no problem what so ever!!!

I just got an old Evinrude Lightwin 3hp model # 3012 (year of production 1952-1954). The guy who sold it to me said it needs just a carb cleaning but when I opened the flywheel I saw it needs more than that... So I started to restore it.
