Hello,
As the title says I have a 100$ question!!!
I own a 150 hp, blus water erie, carb made in 1999 fitted on Bayliner trophy model 2002FF. That engine was completely rebuilt in 2010 with new power head from Mercury BY PREVIOUS OWNER.
I have been using it since 2011 without any major issue...
Yesterday i replaced the water pump on my 1999 150hp mercury. When I first tried to put the lower unit back in I just was not able to get the shaft splines in the bottom of the engine. Tried rotating the wheel but still was not able..
Look in the hole with a flash light only to discover some...
I bought a 1999 trophy model 2002 and the top wich is made of the standard section and the extension are leaking like crazy and need to be replaced..
Those were bought new with the boat and from the company..
I am looking at replacing the top(2 sections) but i need to find a place where i could...
I am looking at buying a walkaround boat with a 2001 johnson 150 model rj150vxs1g on it..
I will do a compression test with the seller before buying it but i have no idea of what should be the numbers and tolerance for that specific outboard.
Anyone knows where i could get more info on that...
