Does anyone know if you have to pull the engine out to replace the trim hydraulic line from pump to connector?

So far have attempted a 1/4" brass compression splice.

I lost the nut, washers and bushing and am not able to find the washers or nuts here on Iboat outside a kit. I'm broke and cant afford the anchor pin kit when all I "need is nut 2 washers and 2 bushings.

Need the o rings and gasket kit for where the U shaped exhaust pipe, attaches to the transom assembly. I am pretty sure that I bought one last year, but now need it again and cant find what I'm looking for.
