    short or long ... that is the question

    I need to be able to tell if the shaft I have in my Johnson is long or short. The model is 60DE10BL. The motor cover says Gale/Sovereign and it is a 60hp. Can't wait for responces. thanx rich Edit: 1st sentence deleted, infraction issued. TD

    replaced gas tank

    I've put a poly gas tank from the junk yard in the bow of our deep v-hull. It runs back to a 1980 235 Evinrude. I don't know if I've set it up right or not. I put an in line fuel pump instead of a bulb pump basically because I couldn't build any pressure in the bulbed line. Question is what kind...
