Hi can anyone help I'm looking to identify an engine with no serial number i've looked at every core plug I can see and can't see a number, I've attached images of all the numbers I can see on the block and leg.
I need to buy a lower unit for it as it doesn't have one and need to know what...
the engine i have is a 1998 mariner v6 250 efi offshore, the gearcasing leaked water into it and had been sitting all winter and is now seized
it should be able to use a gearbox from a mercury 200/225/250 I have the casting number for the gearbox
the casing cast number 1623-822442.C it...
