I have a fuel pump leak on my 1990 200 hp Johnson VRO. The oil lines were disconnected by the previous owner. My question is can I replace it with a standard fuel pump or do I have to use the VRO oil and fuel pump. There is a large difference in price between the two.
My L drive is over heating and I have a strong steady stream of cool water coming out the back. I removed the thermostat (it was open) and the water seemed a bit warmer but the power head was still getting hot. Anyone have an idea what is going on here?
I need two of these for my 90 120 force L drive. When I look in the parts section they are "Obsolete" Is there a source for NOS parts or a way to make this part?? I'm not having any luck. Thanks in advance!
I can push my motor back an forth by hand. It seems like the mounts are broken, But I cant find a diagram or a part listing for a motor mount. Is there a motor mount for this engine?
How can you tell when your clutch dog has gone bad? My Force 120 would not go into reverse so I pulled the lower unit and removed the clutch dog. The edges are a little rounded but don't look completely worn out.
