I removed my lower unit and I believe I broke a connector that attaches to the stem pictured. Not wanting to take a chance, I would like to replace it

As I slowed down smoke was rolling from the engine compartment. Apparently the rubber exhaust pipe on the exit side of riser was burning up. i cut it open but never saw flames but used fire extinguisher anyway.

It has been overheating at high revs and I believe a leaking riser is the problem. Seems to be leaking at the bottom at what appears to be a plug. (Rust)

on my 88 lowes pontoon. I took cable off but it has no indentification markings at all. Its a rotary style. I've noticed that there are a couple different brands Uniflex, Morse and Teleflex. I'm wondering if they are interchangable?

I brought this used evinrude trolling motor and it wouldn't run so i troubleshooted it down to the lower unit. When I took the lower unit apart out came water. Of course everything is rusted inside.
