I tried to cross refence the 9.6 Sea king Model # VWB27009A to the 1970 Chrysler 9.9. I understand they are basically same motor. There are 8 models listed for the1970 Chrysler.
Have any idea which Chrysler motor would be the closest match for the 9.6 Sea King?

I broke the clevis bracket on my CMC PT-130. I removed the 4 3/4" head bolts that hold bracket in place. The bracket will not come loose from the 4 "spring pins". Do I have to remove unit from boat the get the pins out? It looks like it should slide off them but I can't get it to budge...

Was on water this weekend, wearing my engine cut off switch lanyard and forgot it was connected. I stood up, and pulled the lanyard from the switch on controls. Much to my surprise the motor did not shut off.
