    Not much hair left... heh! The engine overheated so the waterpump impeller has been replaced. The guy who did the werk said the the stator had melted so I replaced it. Still no spark on #3.     1973 85HP Stator

    What years are the stators the same for my '73 85HP Evinrude. It's a 6 Amp model. I ask because I have access to a '74 115 that I can canabilize. Provided it's a 6Amp unit, would it's stator werk in my 85? Thanx in advance for any help!
