    Stiff Throttle Grip on 88 15 hp Evinrude

    The twist grip on my 88 Evinrude is a little sticky and stiff to twist. (Before you ask:I do have the clamp backed way off.) What is the reccomended lubricant, and do you have to dissasemble it to lube it up? Thanks. Ray L.

    Tuning Out of the Water

    Is there a way to apply a load to these 2 strokes w/o using a barrell of water? I find that if I run in a barrell and want to run the engine at load for a while, it tends to empty the barrell all over me and the area I am working in. Muffs are good for low speed tuning, but can't throttle up...

    Cam Follower Adjustments for 88 15hp Evinrude

    I just replaced the cam follower on my 15 hp Evinrude. I think I got lucky in that it seems to run fairly well. Good response to throttle and seems to rev up 'real' high... I do not have a small engine tach (any suggestions?) and it is not under load (running with muffs) so I can't say for sure...
