    The head cover is dripping water on my spark plug. I ordered a new gasket, but is there a paticular sealer I should use? Also is there anything I should be wary of when doing this? Looks strait forward.

    Re: 1967 Merc 500 shift cam Hmm, I have turned the shaft to engauge forward gear as thats where my controls are set. Im not sure what you mean by the reverse ramp facing the drain plug side. There are two ramps on the rev lock cam. Help! :)

    I had to reseal the lower unit on my 50 hp. I made the mistake of not marking the shift rod and cam to put them back exactly in place. How do I retime it all so the shifting will be correct. Thanks
