    Installing carpet over old one?

    I'm preparing to re-carpet my 19 ft. Invader. The flooring is in good shape except for minor re-inforcements. I am considering installing new carpet over the old one. Any suggestions from past experiences?

    Able to get boat off trailer!

    There was nothing to it. There was no apparent problem. My 11 yr. old son an I have been out boating twice with no problems. I've done nothing other then give the boat a moderate push from the bow. Often times one makes a mountain out of a mole hill. Well, you live and learn, thanks again guys!

    Ever tried to launch boat off trailer and it would not come off???

    I'm farely new to boating. Question for seasoned skippers.I sank the trailer wheels and lights as far back as I could and boat would still not come off trailer. An adult pushed from the bow, another adult pulled boat deck line tied to back cleat,cable unhooked from stem eye, no other tiedowns...

    Bilge Pump Question??

    I'm a newcomer to boating. Does the engine need to be on to check if the bilge pump works? I have an I/O 165 hp Mercrusier.
