    boat listing to port???

    I have a Fletcher Arrowsprint 129 speedboat (13ft long) with a Johnson 50 (and doel fins) on the back, I sit on the starboard side and my wife who's lighter than me sits on the port side. At planing speeds the boat leans to the port side quite a lot. i cannot work out why? Any ideas please?

    battery not charging

    I have a 1988 Johnson 50 electric start, manual tilt. The battery is not charging, How many AC volts should be coming out of the 3 yellow wires under the flywheel to the rectifier unit when the engine is at idle please?

    will this work?

    I have a 2.9m inflatable with a Mariner 8hp, it will plane with just me in it but when a 2nd person gets in it won't quite plane. We only use it in calm/river conditions. If I deflated the inflatable keel partially or fully this would make it more flat bottomed and therefore surely easier to...

    old or not so old engine?

    Hi, I recently the UK Mariner importer to ask the age of my Mariner 8hp outboard, they said from the serial number it was made in 1977, it seems too modern for that, please take a look at some photos of it at http://www.wcrccc.co.uk/mariner.htm and see if you think it looks like a 30 year old...
