    What can I expect?

    As my engine froze and cracked 2 winters ago, I'm finally getting a replacement Mercruiser. The oroginal was a 4.3L with 190hp.. The new one is Mercruiser's 4.3L with 225hp. All being equal except the engine swap, what changes could I expect to see as far as top end, acceleration, etc?

    Where do I start?

    2001 185BR Sea Ray, 4.3L, all stock. Low hours (under 250) Always fresh water. We've had the boat since new and I've winterized it the same way for each winter season. No issues when we I winterized it last September. Fresh oil filter, oil, and fuel/water separator to start this season off...
