    4.3 merc drain plug SOCKET broke

    Was winterizing my engine for winter storage - one side of my engine, when i went to remove the brass drain plug, no only did the plug come right out, the dam socket came with it, so i know there are sockets threads still in the engine. see picture, normal plug on left, plug thats in the socket...

    spark plugs for 4.3 merc - 1997

    question.... about to change my spark plugs, manual says 35-59571 but auto parts store couldn't match it. google shows it converts to a NGK4323 (I think) they didn't have NGK, so a matched model to that is R42T ... but when I got home and looked it up, that ngk model matches ALOT of ac delco...

    I never remember my outdrive being able to be picked up or pushed down a few inches - perhaps its just me not recalling correctly. I replaced one trim cyclinder, so now I'm wondering if I did not bleed or flush correctly - should there really be a good inch or two in play w/ the cylinder...

    I need a trim cylinder - was shocked to see they are 400 dollars for seirra (alpha gen 2) however, looks like I can get an SEI one for 120 does that even make sense? how bad is SEI - that's a huge price difference
