My 2000 8 hrs 2 storke has never had its impeller replaced.
Got the 3 bolts out and attemped tp get the LU off. It dropped
about 1 1/2" and stuck!:eek: Should I force it, or am I missing
something?

Just pulled the trigger and bought one.
It has a oil injector - pull it or leave it?
I have always pulled them, but dealer tells me this is a very
reliable unit. Any thoughts?
H! I'm new to this side, I have several Mercs.
I have an oportunity to pick up a 90 hrs, 2000 Evinrude.
Claims the on board (?) computer says it has 35 hours and has
been sitting in an old guys garage.
I've purchased bridges before.
On board chip? and what else could go wrong?

Well I have a 87 Merc 60 hpr. that does not pee.
Yes I have changed out the impeller and the gaskets, plus the face plate.
It just will not pee. I have ran water backwards for 30 minutes
several times, same result.
Any one have any ideas?
