How would I go about restoring these console caps? Just sand off them and paint them? How do I fill in the holes from the old windshield?
Also I have a 5 inch crack in one of the console caps. I'm thinking about using hot staples to repair the crack. After that, how do I fix the topside...
My boat according to NADA weighs 1075 lbs, the 100hp motor weighs 340 lbs, and the kicker motor weighs 90 lbs.
My total is 1505 lbs for the boat and motors.
The plate says I can add 825 lbs and still be under weight. Now I'm at 2230 lbs. If a 2"x4'x8' sheet of polystyrene will displace 340...

How deep do you have to dig to see if the foam is waterlogged. This picture is taken by the transom on the port side. I dug down about 3". It looks like the top was cut off from the factory after it was overpoured so I thought it would have soaked up a lot of water.
It was dry down 3" or so.
I'm going to do a lot of repairing on this boat. Started with replacing a few floor boards. Turning into a much bigger project.
Is this gas tank supposed to be sagging? Should I just keep it in there or try to replace it? It's sagging at least an inch in the middle.
