The steering cable is a new tele flex no feed back, the prop is 15" 17 pitch, no power steering. The out drive has a little sideways slop.This is not a new problem.
It's been this way since I've owned it (3 years). The boat is a 17' tri-hull. Would a different prop help?

I replaced my gimbal bearing last season. I pulled the mc1 out drive today to replace the u joints and the gimble came out on the input shaft! The bearing seems fine and I couldn't see any cracks in the gimble housing. Ire installed it with the proper tool and it took 4 or5 wacks with a 3 lb...
