Good morning all-
Picture shows the throttle lever used for my 2007 DF150.
When I turn engine OFF (in neutral) and then go to start it up, it frequently will not crank until I move throttle lever back (slightly) and then into neutral again. Not sure if this is a cable issue or neutral switch...
Have two 12V batteries...one for starting, the other for accessories.
The accessories battery has been dropping to ~ 9 volts after 2-3 weeks. This happens even with the battery switch OFF.
Used a DVM and I see 5-10 mA indicated when connected to the negative post.
Bought quick release...
2007...ran fine last year. No water stream so I changed the impeller today and have the same problem.. I do see puffs of smoke stream out that appear to be "pushed" by the impeller. I pushed weedwacker line about 10 inches up the pee hole before it stopped.
Any thoughts much...

Finally getting the boat out (yea work sucks) and noticed (in the driveway check) that the distinctive "click" when I push the ignition key in is now a faint tap. She started right up but I'm concerned. I researched the problem and its not clear to me if pushing the key in actually chokes or...
Hello All- New to the forum here. I searched and found that RubberFrog had similar symptons.<br /><br />I have a Bayliner Capri 2150 (1989) w/ OMC 5.8L Cobra. We took it out and it ran great for 10 mins or so and then just stopped suddenly. We were able to start it back up and it ran 1-2 mins...
