i am looking at buying a starcraft tom. need to know as much info as i can. How good of boats are they? The one I am looking at got rebuilt in 08. Are they ok for the sounds, bays ? i will be in mostly salt water. Getting the boat and hull for 1200.00 is taht a good deal? Also is a 175 evinrude...

Do they have any problems with the rivits leaking? So a 175 will work on it? I live in nc and plane on fishing in the sound and around cape lookout, there is no problem with salt water and these boats. Would like to thank anyone that helps a fellow out.
I have a chance to get a 89 21 foot sportscraft. Or they good boats ? I will be fishing in salt water in the rivers, creeks, sounds . Or these boats good for this ? Also is a 175 evinrude to big for it ? I am going to try and put a picture up here , he wants 1200.00 for it . please let me know...
