I have a 1994 200hp Johnson Ocean Runner and am considering repowering with a 150 HP E-Tec. The boat is a 94 Wellcraft V21 and has a dry weight of 2300 lbs. WOT runs about 42mph at best and am willing to accept less i.e. 35mph. Any thoughts or recommendations?

I just noticed the dreaded oil spot on the driveway under the lower unit. Upon examination, I found two "blisters", one on either side of the lower unit and directly opposite each other. These are the source of the oil. What could cause this "blistering" and is there a cure (JB Weld, etc.)...
