    25 hp Mariner tach hookup

    I purchased a new tach from a E-bay seller. It has settings on the back for 1,2,3,4,6,8 cylinder engines. Where do I hook up the sensor wire 'S' on the Mariner 25 hp 1988 motor. See pics. Moved from: Electrics, Electronics and Trolling Motors (not engine)

    Trim tab

    Boat steers easily to the right but takes Some force to steer left. I have a 14' tri hull with a 25 mariner with stick steering. I was told to adjust the trim tab. True or False? Which way does it need to turn (the trailing edge left or right) to reduce the left force? Thanx Rick

    Serial number on transom tag OB397455. Believed to be 25 hp. Decals are missing. Thanks
