as we all know sanding is a pain but very necessary, ive got a lot sanding to do but can only do it on certain days and I have time restraints as well due to regulations at the yard im in , so sanding and doing the actual epoxy work on the same day is impossible, what’s the maximum time/days...

When I said I was going to use silkaflex I didn’t actually mean I was considering sticking the bulkhead in solely with 5200...

Hi thanks for that idea, I’m assuming you mean to affectively turn it into a halving joint? If so that should be far easier than trying to grind a bevel into it ,
how wide would you think the joint should be? Please see picture ,
