    50 hp force won't turn over

    Have a 50 hp force Model 507y8d,1988. Was running great. Have two deep cycle batteries in a series(fairly new), both fully charged. All of a sudden boat won't even turn over, not even a click. Any ideas? Rectifier? Circiut breaker does not seem tripped. Any ideas would be very much appriciated.

    What does it mean when my top plug looks clean but wet, my bottom one is always black and wet. have a force 50hp two stoke 507y8d. carb is set at 1 1/4 turns out from lightly seated.

    Power Band

    Have worked on two stroke motorcycles, and I know they tend to hit a power band, does any one know if this also happens with force 50hp outboards( two stroke,) I have not noticed it, or maybe I'm in need of some fine tunning.

    I have a force outboard 1988 50hp 507y8d, When at sealevel boat runs excellent, @ home 1500 ft elevation it runs good but not as good. I'm thinking it is jetting in carb, how do I know what size to get, bigger, smaller? Any input on this would be appreciated..

    trolling motor fried

    Have a minn cota 36 lb. thrust, foot pedal trolling motor. It was left on and was wedged onto boat causing motor to be fried/frozen. It is a really nice motor. Does anyone know if I'm able to fix this or is it worth fixing. Can I buy a used motor and do a switch?

    1988 force 50 hp

    shift pivot srew removed

    I accidentally removed shift pivot screw, however things seem fine, boat shifts good still, is this going to cause a problem in the future, or did I cause something to leak internally? any advice would be great!

    Force 50 hp 1988 water leaking

    I recently had a water impeller and housing put in by a shop. Water squirts out of the right lower housing bolt, is this normal, boat seems to work fine, water is pumping out of appropriate places also. Any suggestions?
