Thank you for your advice. You see, I have the motor on the back of the boat. With its weight, I am unable to manage the weight to put it on its side. I'm working with it in the "full up"position. That being said is it possible to remove the skeg like that without having all the gears fall out...
Well I did it... with my 1960 johnson 40 hp, I accidentally removed the pivot pin instead of the oil drain and cannot for the life of me get it back in with it shifting properly.. PLEASE HELP!!!!!
