    does anyone know how a rev limitor works on a yamaha 2000 115 horse saltwater seiries engine when you have low oil? does it always set of the alarm or just limit your rpms?<br />thanks for any help :)

    low oil in engine resoivor and engine limitor

    Just a quick question if my main oil tank is empty and my resivore on the engine is between the high fill line and the low fill line do you think it could limmit my engine to three cylinders or about 3000 rpm, i have a 2000 yamaha 115 saltwater seires engine.
