    I want to convert my 2000 Yamaha from oil injection to oil mix. [for the reliaability of it]<br />I hear many horror storied of lost engines over a plugged line ect..I did a seadoo and had good results. Need to know what to unhook and unplug ect????

    25 merc rattle

    rattle comes and goes at about any speed. The most anoying at very fast itle and up to mid speed. Istantly stops then will gradually start again.<br />Also will not charge. Replaced the rectifier and still no charge..

    454 mercruiser i/o quit running-1997-

    It sputtered at an itle and quit.<br />No spark when I ground out plug wire or coil wire.<br />When key is on I have 12 volts to both terminals on coil.<br />Tried a new coil. No change ??????<br />Should there be power to the negitive side of the coil??

    It has a rattle knocking sound that comes and goes mid itle to 1/4 throttle.<br />It starts up slowly then increases for a few min. then instantly stops. Then in a couple of mins. in will start up again. Peformance is great.I have run it many hrs this way.[so think it is other than a rod ???]<br...

    Battery will not charge. It will run without battery cable hooked up.<br />How do I test it for the problem.

    Knocking rattling fast itle, 25 merc

    After a slight warm up the rattle, knock sound comes on slowly as I go out the canal at a fast itle. Then it may instantly quit, then in a couple of minits it will start gradually to rattle. The warmer it is the more it happens.
