Mercruiser 6 cylinder, elec fuel pump runs great had an issue getting fuel to carburetor all is good now. I put about 40 gallons of gas in her 3 weeks ago .
On top of about 25 gallons that wintered from. Oct till now April .
What would you recommend that would address any carb issues...

My humminbird unit has a navionics sd card perhaps 3 years old, can I let my neighbor who has a new lowrance unit with out the navionics sd in it try mine. without causing me any problems when I reinstall?
I have a 2011 nav. chip for my HB 587, I only use it for one lake. I missed the window for the free up grade.

i brought friends boat over to winterize, winterized fine, tried to trim up to trailer back wont go up, pump unit hums/runs, normal sound when engaging (down only) when going down , but when i press up starts to move 1/4/inch then no sound no further up motion.

Just put a deposit on a new 4 stoke Yamaha 115hp for a houseboat, I certainly want the this over the 2 cycle. But with the oil changing issue IM afraid this was the bad choice, it cost 250$ and jump through hoops to pull this boat on the ramp, not to mention lower unit changes...
