Found the fault today. Screews holding the bearing on the piston rod had come loose on one rod. So the screew went into the crank case wall and stopped the movement. The bearing itself is trash. Lucky the engine was at idle when this happened.
I was idling the engine home on a hose. Have started if a few times the last week, and thought it run fine every time. Running on pre mixed fuel even though engine have autolube. This is a engine that I bought recently and have not been out on the lake with so far.
Suddenly the engine stopped...
Thanks, this is what I need.
My cranking RPM is 220, manual say it should be over 250.
First voltage from stator should be minimum 85V, I only get 15V.
And next voltage should be minimum 25V, I only get1.5V.
A new starter is ordered today. Hopefully that's the issue here.
I recently bought this engine. It has been sitting on a boat at the previous owner’s backyard for maybe 10 years and not used. And of course I can not start it. Have new plugs but almost no spark on them. Have only seen a very week (almost invincible) spark on two of the six cylinders.
There is...
Here is the whole head with the hose plugged.
I noticed that the colour of the cylinder part don't match head and intake. Someone might have replaced it back in time.
There are two hoses going between intake, and one from intake to cylinder 2, should it be four hoses in total?
