    I've reached a point where I believe I have a stator issue but when I do the basic bench test it seems to be fine. It looks decent, no broken wires. Is it possible to have a bad stator that passes the multimeter bench test?

    1971 Johnson 85 hp w/Morse single lever

    This should be easy. I replaced throttle cable with Teleflex, looks like everything is operating at the motor as it should. My problem is when I turn the key, nothing. The neutral safety switch looks to be operating as it should, and it looks Ok, but nothing when I turn key. What am I missing?

    Dewaxing small area in dingy
