Looking at two boats and am undecided. The specs are as follows:
2008 Hurricane FD GS 194 with a 200hp Yamaha F200
2007 Starcraft 1915 OB with Merc Opti 115
Both have low hours 90 and 60 respectively.
Given that the prices are very similar which is a better buy. I dont know OB prices but...
Been dying to get a Hurricane Deck Boat and have it down to these 2 choices. The new one is about $4k more and has a Mercury Opti 150hp on it. The 2008 has a 200Hp Yamaha on it. Anybody know the difference between these 2 models. I think the FD GS is now the SS 194 or at least they look...
I am looking at purchasing the above boat and am planning to go see it this evening. The guy told me it has a 4.3 Volvo in it but I cant find a funship of this size that has that engine. Most have the Volvo 5.0. Is he making a mistake as he says the boat will do 50mph.
