    Boat lifts good or bad idea?? [Need opnions]

    I have a 23' boat, cottage on a protected bay off of Lake Superior, shallow water, so we moore our boat out 100 yards from shore.....I am purchasing a boat lift for this location. Any opnions on the safety of boat lifts! good or bad experiences! Thanks for the input,...DP

    Did I make a uneducated purchase:2001 225 ficht

    I just pullled the trigger! purchased a 23ft Seaswirl walkaround, the motor is a 2001 Evinrude 225 FICHT/RAM..146 hours on the motor...dealer checked out the motor and everything looks great!.....I am now hearing alot of bad press about the ficht, however my buddy says it was in the 97-98 models...

    2001 225 evinrude ficht ram is this a good motor?

    I am looking at a nice boat with a 225 2001 ficht...........146 hours on the motor , is this a good motor or should I beware? Please give me your opinions, I am a new boater and want to enjoy my boat this summer....Thanks

    Buying a evinrude 225 ficht have RPM question

    I am a new boater, just bougth a 23ft Seaswirl with 2001 Evinrude 225 FICHT. The dealer gave me a printout showing the previous owner put 146 hrs on the motor, 58% was at 500rpm, trolling speed I guess, is this bad for the motor? and is it true that 146 hrs is condidered low hours?
