    8 HP 100:1 best oil to use

    Can I use Evinrude brand 2 stroke oil to mix 100:1 mix for a 8 hp Yamaha? The Evirude oil bottle does not give the amounts for a 100:1 mix on the bottle. Is this brand insufficiant to mix a 100:1 ratio? Thanks much, Rifflerunner17

    2004 Merc. 9.9 2 stroke caughs at very low speed

    Sound and feels like it looses spark or fuel for a second or so and then recovers. It does this of and on at a low trolling speed, runs great at high RPM. I just got this motor and when I did I changed plugs from BPZ8HS to BP8HS. Could that cause it, I'm puzzeled. Anybody got any good info?

    15 Horse only runs when almost fully choked

    !992 Evinrude 15 horse ran fine, then started stalling at high and low speeds. I found that it would keep running if I pulled choke out about two thirds.
