    Goodbye to first boat!

I just sold our first boat (1986 Bayliner Capri 1600BR) and closed on our new family member (2013 Monterey 184FS). Got the strangest looks as I towed the old boat along the highway during a snowstorm. We can't wait for warmer weather to launch the new boat.

    1986 Force 85hp - looking for engine cover gasket/seal

The engine cover gasket/seal/packing on my '86 Force 85 needs to be replaced. I've looked all across The Net and have come up blank. The OEM part is no longer made and is not available anywhere. It looks like I'll need to fab something up on my own. Anyone else run into this problem? Thanks!

86 Force 85hp - unburned fuel around engine

I have found unburned fuel around the engine and at the bottom of the engine cover. It seems to be running just fine. Could this be caused by the mixture being too rich?

Removing rear seat backs - 86 Capri BR 1600

I just bought an 86 Capri bowrider 1600 and need to do some interior refreshing. I've found the screws that hold on the side bolsters, but I can't seem to figure out how to remove the two rear seat backs (on either side of the motor). Any ideas? Thanks!
