    1996 Evinrude starter question

    I have a problem where the starter will engage the flywheel but the drive gear just spins. It will start after multiple tries but I would like to know if there is a way to fix it without replacing the starter. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

    Fuel Problems

    Does anyone have a water flow diagram for a 1971 6hp evinrude fisherman? I have been looking for the telltale but, I don't know if this model has one. Thanks in advance for your help.

    water pump on 1971 6hp evinrude

    I have what the marine shop told me was a 1971 evinrude fisherman. I can not locate where to disconnect the shift rod so I can drop the lower unit to replace the water pump.
