Can anybody here tell me how to put the float spring back on my 1983 15 hp Chrysler carb correctly? long tab to the float or short tab to the float? & does the tab on the carb body connect on the inside of the lip or the outside? Rob

Ok folks can anyone help me out? I think i got shafted, i bought a 1983 15 hp chrysler short shaft outboard 2 days ago. The guy i bought it from said it "runs as new" He fired it up 2-3 pulls showed me it ran had lots of power idled good, shifted well forward & reverse... so i bought it.... 400...
Does anyone here know where i can get the specs for my 1970 appleby aluminum v-hull? I'm trying to find out what the HP rating is. I've looked everywhere online but can't seem to find anything. Any iput would be appreciated! Thanks, Rob
