Finally got the video. Lol. Of course with help from my son. I'm hoping it's just a impeller that it needs. Next year I will change the impeller and check for clogged tunes in the heat exchanger. Notice where the pink antifreeze comes from.
The exhaust bellows were changed according to the previous owner who is a friend of mine so I trust him. Impeller was not changed. Unfortunately I'm having a hard time sending the video. Keeps telling me the files don't have a allowed extension. The pics show where the water is coming from...
Sorry about the late reply. It's a 89 3.7l. Alpha 1 out drive. 4 " heat exchanger. Son took a small video as I was running rv antifreeze trough it. (Overkill I know).
Sorry for late reply. I ran rv antifreeze (over kill) through it today. Was expecting to see antifreeze coming from the transom area but it was coming out the gear housing. Got my son to video a few seconds of it running. Not sure if that's sufficient flow.
Thanks guys. Sounds too easy. So there is NO water going to the engine and head? Just antifreeze? No block to drain? Seen a flow diagram for a 3 litre but not for a 3.7 closed system. Would have a peace of mind then. Thanks again.
