Trying to get budz old boat goin for his boys to use.
Its a 1980ish 90hp evi ..boat has sat for 3yrs now .
Time to get it wet.;) & let his sons have sum fun .
Pulled all 4 plugs & spun eng. Over .
Looked like no fuel charge mist out of upper rs cyl.?
Any ideas? I have no serv manual up here @...

Looks like they dropped the 192 & replaced it with a MTX double bow looking thing .:eek:
MTX has middle walk thru at the rear instead of the side & much bigger bow of course . Just not feeling the :plime green color they chose for the ad ???

Finally tried out the sx smarttabs that I had installed a few weeks ago.
I am very pleased with results .:)
This is on an 07 192 with 190hp merc with 19p hi 5 prop
I didnt have a gps so speeds are via speedo
Minimum plane is now 20mph @3000rpms
Before tabs min plane 23-25 @3200rpms
So 200...
Removed stat for winter ,
Installing new gasket ,
How tight for the 2 bolts in Ft/Lbs or N/M on the T stat housing ? I have a Torque wrench so I guess I should use it .
Secondly would a little copper neversieze on the inside of the rubber hoses hurt the rubber , just want to prevent hoses...
