Hey folks,
Does anyone know if this model has a charging system? It was a remote motor but previous owner converted it to a tiller. If it came with one, is it possible that the system doesn't charge any longer? I'm curious because I am going on a camping trip with this boat and will be...
Is it this:

Hey folks, I'd like to buy the proper connector for this Attwood fuel tank. The tank was used for a Merc, but my motor is an Evinrude. I bought the proper connector to the Evinrude motor. What part number (or generic brand) should I get to connect to the tank? Thanks
See the tank below:
I bought it for $900. It's an early 2000 model. That's a good price for that motor around here. I listed it for 1150 to cover gas, time, and factor in wiggle room with potential buyers... May have to drop price as now i have no motor (I want to use the boat this season) but I have another one...
Yup, you're all correct! Unfortunately... I bought this hastily.. inexperience...
I've listed it again. The thing that bugs me is that the seller insisted it was a short shaft. She was an elderly lady. I guess there's a smaller market for long shafts because since I listed it two days ago not...
Hey folks, tow questions:
Need to seal 2 bolts at the transom that are below the water line. What product would you recommend? I've come across the 3M 4200 and 5200 (the latter being permanent I believe?). This is for an aluminum fishing boat that is trailered and used in fresh water only...
I measured it again. Does look too long.. From keel to transom, 16". The shaft is 22" according to the method I used to measure. So off by 6".. I hesitate to put it on the boat now because I don't have anyone to give me a hand.. it's heavy!
Hey folks,
I bought what I think might be too long of a shaft for my aluminum boat. I would like to get someone to help me determine if the motor is actually too long or perhaps work with my current set up.
Firstly, what should I measure exactly? Should I start with the transom? Shaft...
I performed a compression test -n 130 and 135-40 ish on the other.. changed lower unit oil, changed fuel filter and spark plugs... engine is running beter! Feeling pretty goo about that! I am by no means a technical person! so thanks for your help, folks...
Actually, the BP8H-N-10 is only $4.99 a plug. That's cheaper than all the other plugs I looked at. So this is the one I should get or the BPZ8H-N-10 (which is quite a bit more)?
So I'm a bit confused...I ordered Champion 827 L76V plugs. Should I not use these?
Am I now going with NGK BP8H-N-10 OR BPZ8H-N-10 ? These are a lot more expensive by me...
