I ran a compression test but don't have the specs for a 1998 Johnson 250. The Compression results are:
1-110, 2-135, 3-140, 4-100, 5-135, 6-135, 7-135,
8-130
Can anybody confirm that the compression is ok?
Here's a good one. My Montauk has a 1990 Merc 75hp. I hit a wake. When the boat pounded down, the motor cut out. It would not start back up.
