1987 2.3 cobra<br />My problem is this, engine idles for hours with just a little load up problem that resolves after nuetral and running engine at higher rpm for a few seconds,however...we were in the ocean yesterday and trolling around a few hours and as I mentioned after occasional loading up...
I have 2 props in near new condition. I was told at a boat shop One prop I have is a mercruiser prop but he couldnt tell me what engine it was for. It is a 48-7734-17... 13 x 17 with 15 splines. The other is a smaller 386909 12 1/2 x 13<br />with 13 splines. I would like to trade for OMC cobra...
Do I need to take the entire outdrive off to get to the clutch dog and gears in my cobra or is there another way to do this? I did a search but did not find my answer.<br />1987 2.3 w/ cobra<br />Ron
The #3 cyl exhaust lobe on my cam is flat. Does anyone know if this can be repaired or does it have to be replaced? If replacement is my only option, where would I find one? I suppose as with everything else the automotive cam will not match up to the marine?<br />I looked on the Doug Russel...
