    1995 Mariner 150hp Knocks in reverse

    Magnum III, approx 300hrs on it, Runs fine in forward, in reverse it knocks, changed gear lube no metal on magnet. Bad gear?, Bearing? or an adjustment????

    2 Issues to solve????" 1. Have a bad alarm module, where can i find this part??? 2. When shifting into reverse, there is a knocking noise before it engages fully???? Thanks for any help!!

    Both tanks full , no leaks, caps tight,hoses appear to be in good order...?????
