    Higher pitch prop, MORE rpm's?

    I'm wondering if anyone else has had prop pitch anomalies like I'm experiencing. '86 175 on a Hydrostream w/ jackplate. Had a 23p 3 blade SST and could only get 4800 RPM out of it @ about 61mph.     Merc '86 175 for KCLOST bleed hoses

    do you have a 175 w/vertical reeds? If so could you help me connect my "bleed hoses" correctly?<br /><br />Also have an inconsistant temp at full throttle. <br />I am getting a pressure gauge :cool: .

    Merc V6 bleed hoses

    Have a '86 175 w/vertical reeds that was poorly but expensively rebuilt. Got a seloc manual to set timing, carb sync, etc. and noticed the "bleed hoses" (whatever they do) weren't routed like the manual said. The rebuilder said he did them right but I no longer trust him.
