    How to find out if foam was used

    I have a 65 Glaspar Avalon. I need to know if floatation foam would have been used in new manufacture? Does anybody know how to find out? There is no evidence that there was ever foam anywhere on this boat.

    1956 10hp QD 17 R Johnson

    Here are some pics of the 10 HP Johnson I just got. http://s287.photobucket.com/albums/ll124/roofus5/Johnson%2010/ I have to get a compression gauge. But seems good. I don't have a tank yet so I squirted som gas into the line and she fired for me. I did'nt run it just fired it.
