Yes, here is the front and back. Need to tighten up the back ones a bit more - some brutal washboards on the way to the launch pushed once side down a bit - but it worked out nicely.
Thanks! I ended up using those in the back where the rollers were and they seem to work nicely. I was worried about them being at an angle but they are very solid and should hold strong.
In the front I mounted the bunks directly to the cross brace, as the space is much smaller. Angle is good and...
I am hoping to replace the rollers on my older (1990ish) homemade trailer with bunks for my Lund Rebel boat (aluminum hull, 16’ long, 6’ beam). I am up for the task of doing it myself - or at least thought I was until I realized my trailer cross members are not aligned.

This might be a silly question, but how can I tell if my trailer axle shaft is straight or stepped? I need to replace my bearings, but am not sure what kind to buy. There is a slight "step" on the axle near the part closest to the centre of the trailer, but otherwise the axle is straight until...

Like many on this forum, I've had a nightmare with the manual tilt assist cylinder on my Johnson outboard. (It's currently frozen in the down position.) While I understand why everyone recommends replacing the manual assist with a power t/t system, I simply don't have the money to do that...
I've found this site to be a HUGE help for a first-time boat owner, but have one question I can't seem to answer from previous posts. I just bought a 15.5' aluminum fishing boat with a 40 hp Johnson Tracker outboard (1989) and electric start. I have one very reliable dual purpose marine...
Great forum -- my first post!
I recently bought a boat/motor/trailer package with a 40 hp 1989 Johnson Tracker -- model J40ELCEC. I don't have the manual for the motor, unfortunately, and am very new to boat/motor maintenance.
I'm currently shopping for batteries, and thought it would make a...
