    faria temp gauge and teleflex sender

    Hi to all, I have a mercruiser 3.0l 2005 and my temp gauge broke so I install a Faria gauge cause I can't find and teleflex as the original was. Sender is a 3/8" teleflex.Do I have to replace the sender too or it's compatible? Any similar expereiments done? regards Andy Stingray 195cx 2006...
