    73 115 V4 only 2 cyl. getting spark

    I have a 1973 115HP V4 evinrude that i am only getting spark on #1 and #4, it has new plugs, wires, new coils, power pack. I have found that if i switch the timing wires i get spark on 2 and 3. Is the timer base bad?:mad: Any help!!!!!!!!!!! thanks
