I need to replace a 2.5l 120 hp OMC inboard engine in an old 1975 Chaparrel I am restoring. I found a 3l 140 hp engine and it appears to be physically identical to the 120hp. I'd like to use the bigger engine if possible. Does anyone out there know if I will run into any gotchas on this? Thanks...
